Viaggi di Architettura takes all architecture lovers to explore Berlin, a city where the past, present and futuristic contemporary design all blend in. Many local and foreign architects Mies, Gropius & Sharoun, Piano, Nouvel and Foster have their signature in this European capital.

Gendarmaenmarkt, Berlin’s best square to wonder around and soak into the city’s atmosphere famous for the architectural trio composed of Deutscher und Französischer Dom (German and French cathedrals) and Schinkel’s Konzerthaus (concert hall).

Potsdamerplatz, masterplan by Renzo Piano that convinced many architects to join forces him in the redevelopment of the square. Walking around, you come across buildings by Kollhoff Tower by Hans Kollhoff, Roger Twins by Richard Rogers, Berliner Volksbank by Isozaki, Hotel Grand-Hyatt by Moneo.

In the Embassy District of Berlin, each one of the buildings distinctively reflect their heritage and history.
