We currently offer several tours combining Modern and Contemporary Architecture with Music. During the day the group follows our architecture tours (see itineraries), while evenings are filled with various kinds of music. On request tours are preceded by a workshop with a Professor from the Milan Polytechnic expert on acoustics illustrating specific materials and construction/ renovation methods of concert spaces.
Tours must be booked at least four months in advance to be able to guarantee good seats at concerts. Tour dates are arranged around the concert programmes.
- Philarmonie, Luxembourg
The first itinerary is one of three nights in Luxembourg with a different concert each night. The first is held at Neumünster, complex made up of a former Abbey and military hospital, where classic and modern jazz sessions bring musicians from nearby France and Germany together to perform in the recently renovated exhibition and concert spaces of the Abbey. The second is a jazz brunch at a five star hotel in the centre of town and lastly a concert at the Luxembourg Philharmonie (Christian de Portzdamparc, 2006).

The second, very popular tour that we offer is in Portugal where the first evening is dedicated to rather modern Fado, performed by young artists over dinner in the trendy Barrio Alto; the second evening is spent at a live jazz concert in a lounge of the Portuguese capital, then on to Porto for a concert at the new Casa da Musica by Rem Koolhaas/OMA.

Architecture and Music in Rome is becoming popular with a live jazz concert on the first evening and one at Renzo Piano’s Parco della Musica followed by dinner at RED- Restaurant and Design, part of the auditorium complex.
New itineraries and destinations can be arranged at no extra cost if requested well in advance.
