Arosea Life Balance Hotel

La Chiusa di Chietri
The hotel is situated in a 10 hectare park just a few kilometers from the Unesco heritage town of Alberobello. It is made up of a modern wing with 81 rooms and suites and 15 seventeenth century trulli. The hotel has 220 linear meters of photovoltaic pannels producing 18 KW/hour. The modern wing has an efficient valve system for saving water distributing it only to occupied rooms. The hotel has two mediterranean restaurants and a pool.
Sextantio Hotel
The hotel rooms are scattered around the historic centre of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, a charming medieval town on the hills near the Appenine mountain range. Furnishings are minimalistic and made from seasoned recycled woods, rooms are heated by century old fireplaces.
Etnalodge
The family run guest house is situated in a former winery in a tranquil location far from the city. Appartments are generous in size with funishings simple and sobre giving a somewhat homely feel. Water use is limited; rain water is collected and recycled.

Alborea Eco Lodge Suites
The 5* luxury designer resort is situated in an 18 hectare pine forest. Contemporary prefabbricated suites are scattered around the site in order to avoid the cutting of trees. Each suite is independent and has a spacious kitchen-living area, double bedroom, two bathrooms (one with jacuzzi) and private terrace. Each suite sleeps four. The pool has salt water pumped from the Jonio sea 800 meters away. Chauffeur driven golf carts transport guests around the resort.
Borgo Cardigliano
The first eco-resort in Italy is a pilot project of the Department for Environmental Affairs. The former tabacco farm with living quarters for owners and workers, church, gardens and manufacturing areas were transformed into rooms, suites and hotel amenities. All hot water is produced by solar pannels, electricity is generated by photovoltaics pannels and from the wind turbine on the premises. The resort has a large pool and caters for kids with fun afternoon activities.
Ecohotel Poggioimperiale
This guest house is in a strategically positioned 1860 noble home overlooking Porta Romana square across from the Boboli gardens in the centre of town. The building was completely renovated in 2005 and turned into guest house furnished with antique furniture belonging to the family. The 10 appartments and studios have terra cotta floors and make use of natural materials like solid wood, stone and marble where possible.
